Drester
Diamond Files
|
|

|
"Drester"
electroplated diamond files are available in a wide range of
over 100 combinations of shape, size & grit.
"Drester" diamond
files are suitable for use on carbide, stainless steel, glass,
ceramics, ferrites, carbon, graphite, FRP, gold, silver &
any materials where conventional files cannot be used. "Drester" diamond
files are made with carefully selected quality diamonds. The
high grit protrusion gives fast stock removal even with low
working pressures. Our state-of-the-art plant incorporates
automatic process control & unique plating technology, which
ensures consistent cutting action & long tool life. "Drester"
diamond
files are the most economical choice for precision
work. |

Electroplated
Diamond / CBN Mounted Points |
|
"Drester"
electroplated diamond & cubic boron nitride (CBN) mounted
points (grinding pins) are manufactured in a state-of-the-art
plant, incorporating automatic process control & unique
plating technology. Specially selected grades of blocky natural
or synthetic diamond & CBN are used for our pins. This
ensures smooth free-cutting action with minimal heat buildup
& long service life. Our unique plating process provides exceptionally
high bond strength, reducing the risk of premature
pull-out of diamond/CBN abrasive grains. The blanks are made of
medium carbon steel, which is tougher than ordinary mild steel,
in order to minimize bending of the shank during use. The
pins can be used for external & internal grinding of a wide
variety of materials. Diamond pins are used for fibre-glass,
bakelite (printed circuit boards), carbides, ferrites, graphite,
ceramics, glass, etc. CBN pins are used for high speed steels,
tool & die steels, cast irons, hardened steels (45 Rc &
up), etc.
Standard pins are available in a range of 1mm to 30mm diameter.
Alternatively we can manufacture custom made pins to your
specifications, and we can also undertake diamond/CBN coating of
blanks supplied by you. |

Electroplated
Diamond Cutoff Wheels |
|
|

|
"Drester"
electroplated diamond cutoff wheels (slitting saws) are
manufactured in a state-of-art plant incorporating automatic
process control & unique plating technology. Our process
provides exceptionally high bond strength between the diamond
grains & the tempered spring steel body, thus minimising the
chances of premature failure due to diamond grain pull-out. Tool
life is further enhanced by our specially selected tough, blocky
grades of synthetic & natural diamond grains.
The electroplated bond ensures exceptional cutting quality &
superior surface finishing. This leads to high material removal
rate, extremely free-cutting characteristics & low heat
buildup (can be used wet or dry). These saws
are ideal for cutting a wide variety of materials, such as fibre-glass,
bakelite (printed circuit boards), graphite, carbon, ferrites,
asbestos, carbides, MDF, ceramics, bonded abrasives,
refractories, colored stones, bone, horn, paper, etc. Standard
cutoff wheels are available in a range of 100mm (4") to
350mm (14") diameter. For cutting of tool & die steels,
high speed steels & steel harder than 45 Rc, we can supply
saws coated with cubic boron nitride (CBN). |
